      As you can see I’m a big fan of Basset Hounds and dogs in general. I’ve had a total of six Bassets in the last fifteen years and do love them dearly. They all made their way to me with different stories but were all “hand-me-downs.” They are "Lucky Dogs" as Dr. Grossman, my Veterinarian, says. So if you’re a dog lover, two paws up and if you’re familiar with the Basset breed and wonder, “Why the heck would someone want three” (as they are hard-headed and stubborn) you’ll have to just wonder 'til we meet. The hounds are Elvis, fifteen years old (as of June 26, 2010), aka E-Dawg; Earl, eight years old, aka Mr. Hickey; and the youngest, Clyde the Clown, six years.
